Weglot ‑ Translate Your Store

The setup of the Weglot is complicated when you already use various other apps that need to be translated. However the customer service is top notch and very responsive. Special thanks to Antoine who really exceeded my expectations in terms of timely resolution of complex issues.

The quality of translation is quite good and requires significantly less manual translation compared to shopify free app.

Terrible app. You manually translate content on their platform, but the changes never reflect in your store. Their support team constantly tries to shift the blame, claiming it's an issue with Shopify or other apps, but never their fault. Truly disappointing.

Our experience with Weglot turned into a complete nightmare. What was supposed to be a simple translation solution ended up disrupting our entire website theme. As a result, four different parties had to spend several days repairing the damage. Even after removing Weglot, code remnants remain, continuing to affect the stability of our site. Additionally, the online fix provided on their website simply does not work. Overall, a very frustrating experience that we wouldn’t wish on anyone. Note: After this, Weglot proactively reached out to us and resolved the issue — for which we are truly grateful. This helpful follow-up is the reason we decided to adjust our review from 1 star to 4 stars. Thank you for the support.
