Multiple issues with the recent updates. I had about 200 dynamic filters set up that worked fine for years. After doing a shop sync since the update, a bunch of options that were not supposed to be on items were. So I had 100s of product listings with multiple option sets showing that were not supposed to be on them.
I had to go through every single option set and update the dynamic filter. I spent HOURS going through and fixing options that I never had any problems with before they did a bunch of app updates.
Worst app I've used so far, which is very unfortunate for an app that costs $39.99 per month.
NOTHING just works, every single minor change I wanted I had to contact support. Then it would get escalated and take up to 48hrs to make the small changes.
Also not a lot of options for customization available. You cant change a lot of sizes colors or anything really.
Conditions can't be easily added to other sets, super time consuming.
Any time you try and make any change, be prepared for it to mess with another random part of the options you've set up. I try and do anything simple and something goes wrong, and then customer service are sure to explain to you the stuff you've already tried and not address the problems. Ever.
Just install this app because our store have product over +100 variants.
The code installation process is very complicated and the support team help us to do so. However, I've been waiting for 3 days and it's still not installed, been chatting with support, and emailing different people and they kept me waiting for long time. At this point, I'll need to look for a different app because they cannot install the app on my theme.
2024 Update:
I used to like this app when it was still run by a company called Bold Apps. Then, it seems they sold it to some company called Shop Circle and it's terrible now.
I've installed a new theme and I had to get them to reinstall their app on it. It's been a nightmare - at first, it looks like everything is done, then you find out that there are things wrong all over the place and so you try to get them to fix it.
They say they fixed it, then you find something else wrong somewhere else - OVER and OVER again. And it's not like one person is helping you - you get passed from one person to another, everyone doing a piece here, a piece there. I'm really upset and thinking about removing this app completely.
So disappointing.

I normally really LOVE Bold Apps and I think they're a good company, but this app definitely has some issues that they can't seem to fix for me. In particular, the app seems to randomly apply the options to some products and not others, giving me and my customers a very inconsistent experience. When I try to contact Bold, they are "kind of" helpful, but the thing is, I get passed from one rep to another and often have to explain the problem over and over again. I also feel that the reps do not read my messages carefully, because sometimes they make suggestions for things that I've already tried doing, which makes me feel like I'm wasting my time. I'm STILL trying to get it to work properly, after having it for over a month and paying for the $20 subscription. It's been a frustrating experience, but I'm hoping that Bold will try to improve this product, because so far, I don't feel like it's "there" yet.

At the moment, I cant recommend this app to anyone.
We have been using this app for some years and the problem since start is that the app cant translate currencies at all. They will change the currency symbol (for the language visiting) but the digits will be the same. This means 1000 SEK will look like 1000 EURO with this app. This will scare customers and it makes us lose orders all the time.
Second problem is that this app is not compatible with any of the most common language translate apps.
I have talked with the app developer about a solution for this problems for about 2 years. This year they say they hope to fix this by the end of the year.
Now I have contacted them 3 times, asking for status, asking for payed extra service, and asking (last time) for a desperate alternative solution for our store. They dont respond to anything.
We are really sad that we have invested so much time in this app as it seams the developers dont really care about it. On top of all, the set-ups and data in this app cant be migrated to any other options app. This is really bad.

Updated Review: We were on the premium plan with the Bold PO app and have experienced a significant decline in quality of customer service and the app in general since SCPO acquired it. At first we were excited that they reduced the monthly price point for the premium version by $10/month, but it has come with a serious cost...
Since April 2024, we have encountered issues with incorrect orders, missing required fields, and improper customer charges. Despite customer service's attempts to fix these problems through coding changes, the issue was not resolved and it took over a month of back-and-forth communication to finally have it fixed.
Unfortunately, since that time we have started to have other issues pop up related to the code changes that SCPO made to the site when attempting to troubleshoot our issue in April. Shopify and our theme developer have confirmed the issues are related to those changes made in April, however SCPO said that is not true. As they were unable to assist, I had to seek assistance from an outside tech person to address the issue that they stated they could not find evidence of.
Recently, I again noticed an issue where if someone is changing dropdown menu fields that have a price adjustment attached to them, that the pricing is not always updating correctly on the product. Sometimes it states a price much lower or much higher than it truly should be. I also was not able to add this product to my cart. I sent video evidence of this to customer service and they said they would need to pass it on to the developer to review. I just received an email from the development team not addressing my stated issues whatsoever and telling me that the app is working as it should when this is simply not true. I am beyond frustrated at having an app that I pay $40/month for and my tech issues are not thoroughly investigated, the responses I receive fail to address the issues at hand, and they repeatedly dismiss concerns of which there is video evidence that they do, indeed, exist.
SCPO, it is time for your developers and customer service team to do better and support your clientele.

Previous Review: We have been using this app for about the past 6 months. We utilize the Premium version and for what it is, it is quite pricey; being the only app we found that will alter the pricing at the top of the page with variants, they have a corner on the market, however. For $50/month the easy of editing variants could be better. Another large drawback of the app is that you cannot utilize currency selectors for customers as Bold variants will not adapt, resulting in undercharging of customers and lost revenue. Customer service has been fair as well as overall experience. Again, biggest issue would be premium pricing is $$$$ for what it is.

Unfortunately, I now have to get something off my chest. The app actually always worked perfectly! After a new theme update, the live theme was duplicated. In the backup, an attempt was now made to reinstall the app with the automatic installation. I was informed that the automatic installation did not work. In addition, the formatting of the Live Theme was completely destroyed. The backup theme was explicitly selected, but the live theme was also attacked. The support does not consider it necessary to fix this error, instead you are only put off that it will take a little more time. Who will pay for the damage caused by your mistake?

Disaster. I have been a Product Options customer for 10 years. I started noticing a few options not being charged to customers recently and reached out to support. They informed me I need to install Version 2. After horrific communication that takes days for each message, they deployed something that completely torpedoed my entire site and it doesn't even seem like we can undo it. It appears like "Shop Circle" purchased this app from BOLD but kept the name. I am currently losing thousands in revenue a day with an unknown impact on long-term sales and no real resolution in sight that doesn't likely involve 50+ hours of work on my end.
Product options has been down for 6 days and I have put in 3 support tickets, yet no one has contacted me to fix it. I have lost sales due to the options not showing and that is unacceptable. I do not recommend this app. The technical support is nonexistent.
