It was working fine until recently; my purchase conversion stopped tracking. GTM is not showing up on the post-purchase page.
I am also receiving an email to connect my Google account and Google Ads account, even though everything was already set up.
Additionally, there are no Google account and Google Ads account to connect. The app only has Google Merchant Center and Google Business Account available.**

The app performed well during Q4, with solid sales driven by Google Ads. However, we’re now encountering issues where Google Ads prompts us to "Set up a Google tag," even though everything was previously configured correctly. Hi! "Unsupported by Shopify" is an old warning and has no impact on your shop. This banner was cleaned up before any impacts to any stores took place and will clear out shortly. There were some inherent changes to how conversions and tagging are accomplished across Shopify's websites, and the app has updated to meet those new restrictions, which is why you may see messaging to update your current tag methodology before it stops working.
Uninstalling the app and my account. I tried to do this without installing the app to my shopify store but they really push it on you. Its buggy and full of problems that never seem to end. Error error error, fix fix fix, wait wait wait, repeat. On and on and on. One really annoying problem is i keep getting an error saying "Trouble automatically connecting your store to your Google Business Profile Manually link your store to your Google Business Profile". No matter what I do, nothing works. Its like they don't even understand that an ONLINE STORE doesn't have a physical street address. I have a PO box for returns but it doesn't work for some reason in the app. Who knows. Another thing is they make you put your store in a category but have zero options for online store or e-commerce or retail store. They make you pick a category that doesn't match what your store really is. I'm not a pet store just because i sell one item related to pets. I am a general retail store that sells whatever i want to sell whenever I want. So its just stuff like that that sends you down the rabbit hole of never ending frustration. But hey, if you got countless hours of free time to read tons and tons of unhelpful help pages and watch outdated youtube videos then knock yourself out. You might find it fun solving the mystery of the Google & youtube merchant center. I do wish you good luck and hope you fair better than I, but i am done.

Integrating Google with Shopify was super simple and quick! Now our products reach customers effortlessly. Highly recommend!
It’s terrible that I’ve tried reinstalling and uninstalling 4-5 times over the past three months.
- Setting up conversion tracking for Shopify is overly complicated. If I use third-party apps, they gain access to my ad account, exposing all sales data or ad information.
- If I install the official apps from Google (like the Google & YouTube app), they fail to report data accurately. For example, I had 8 orders from Google Ads, but the report only recorded 3 conversions, which affects ad learning performance.
- If I try to set up conversion tracking from GTM (Google Tag Manager) to Shopify myself, I need to know some coding or be proficient with it (layers, scripts, etc.). How can a sales manager do this on their own? Shopify makes everything unnecessarily complicated.
In conclusion, both Google Apps and Shopify deserve a poor rating due to the overly complex setup process for conversion tracking.
I rate the app, but I have issues with the products I advertise on Google due to their categorisation. I'm a Home Brew Supply Store and some of my products are deemed to contravene Googles policies around alcohol.
I do not make of sell alcohol, only the ingredients to start making it.

Broken garbage, after wasting months trying to solve the issue with "misrepresentation", the app became incompatible after updating my store. After reinstalling the app, the store name is "invalid" within the new merchant account. Pure garbage that doesn't actually work properly. None of the error messages help you diagnose any issue and your left guessing, don't even bother with support because they wont help you. You're on your own.

É bem tranquilo, sem problemas com configuração, mais uma coisa que me deixou chateado é que quando precisamos de suporte, parece que o google esconde suporte, ai fala para postarmos na comunidade, mais não vou em comunidade, pelo fato de ter informações sigilosas, por exemplo os meus IDs de minhas contas no Analytics, Merchant e por ai vai.
