Consentmo GDPR Compliance

I have had to contact Consentmo to check that our store is GDPR compliant, and Georgi helped me to check through multiple settings using video guides and clear explanations. He even did a part of the process for me, as I am not very technical. He has been truly fantastic, and made one of those really annoying technical issues, a complete breeze to deal with.

Have had some great support from Georgi and Zeus. We have been working through some issues with duplicate code, issues with Elevar implementation and Google Ads tracking and GA4 tracking and have managed to resolve everything with the help of the Consentmo support team. The app is good and does exactly what I need it to do to make sure I'm GDPR compliant, especially since I use Printify and sell to customers over in Europe. John was a big help and it is nice to know that support is very quick to answer your chats when you have a question. I always look for good customer service when I download a new app because it makes a big difference as you're learning to navigate the app and how it works.

I did a website audit and found that I had issues with my GDPR app. I contacted the support thinking that I'd have to wait for a reply. Instead a gentleman called Zeus, who defo lives up to his name, answered my messages promptly and resolved my issue by accessing my website and fixing the code!

I'm very happy and shocked that I received such great service on a Saturday after 5pm GMT. Fab company!

App is working very well but I am giving 5 stars for the quality of the support. It's a tricky area to navigate and the advice and support from the app is clear and always helpful. Zeus has helped me a few times and very pleased with the help.

This is a great app to get compliant with all things internet! Zeus was very helpful in the chat when I had some questions. He patiently walked me through how to update a couple of things.

This is not only a fantastic app for privacy compliance purposes, but it's also supported by an incredibly helpful team. Georgi fielded a compliance check within just a few minutes of my 2:15 AM request. I wasn't expecting to receive an email, or hear back from a real person, for at least 24 hours. That says alot about the customer service. Very confident in this app/developer.

I’ve been using Consentmo for about a year — the app is great, easy to use, and does what it promises in terms of cookie compliance. However, I suspect it may have affected my Meta Ads retargeting campaigns. While I’m not 100% sure, I noticed that during the time I was using Consentmo, my retargeting audience stayed unusually small.

Since I disabled the app and switched to Shopify’s native cookie banner, my Meta Ads retargeting has been working much better. It seems like there might be something in the way Consentmo handles Facebook Pixel events or consent for tracking.

Again, I can’t confirm the link with certainty, which is why I’m still giving 3 stars. But if you're running Facebook Ads and notice issues with retargeting audiences, it might be worth checking if Consentmo is impacting your Pixel data.
