We signed on with Brightpearl over 3 years ago before they were acquired by Sage. We've been overall very happy with Brightpearl. We have multiple brands, two warehouse locations, and various sales channels where we sell our products, which results in complex order workflows at times. Brightpearl's automation rules have been a huge help to us in letting us configure how orders flow through the system. Brightpearl has allowed us to better manage our inventory and centralize reporting for all of our sales channels.
I do think there could be some improvement made to the integration with Shopify but it's not a deal breaker for us. For example, your products have to be built separately in each system instead of having the ability to build a product in one system and have it transfer over to the other. There also isn't a good workflow for making order edits in Shopify and having that transfer over to Brightpearl. The product improvements seem to have slowed down since Sage's acquisition but we are hopeful to see more improvements coming soon!

This helps them understand what features our customers are looking to have developed further!
We've been with Brightpearl since 2014. It handles inventory so well that often you forget how much it does behind the scenes. For me, the best thing is that all information is in one place which is great if you're trying to manage a business remotely.
I have 2 gripes. Please could you sort reporting dates so they start at the current year instead of defaulting to the year 2000. It's so tedious if you're producing multiple reports.
The second thing I would like to see is to be able to select weekly reports based on week numbers. I would think this especially useful in retail.
These are only minor irritations and it does everything very well indeed. If you need any help, the support team are very helpful.

We have been working with Brightpearl since 2022 for our backend systems and accounting integration . The integration with Shopify works very well and allows us to seamlessly track our orders as well as managing stock for multiple sites.
