Great solution for Shopify ecomm stores!
What we liked:
- Easy, smooth and fast with Shopify (we previously used TradeGecko / QuickBooks Commerce and it was a nightmare)
- Individual modules for inventory management, warehouse operations, and demand planning helps to give each area the UI/UX it needs (instead of cramming it all into one solution)
- 24/7 phone & email support, dedicated account managers, plenty of online resources and ongoing improvements in the software help with anything that doesn't work perfectly
- Integrates easily with Xero, but has an accounting module included, which means data can be easily reconciled between the 2 systems
What we don't like:
- Some pieces of integration with Shopify are more clunky than others; further work is required especially on the returns & exchanges process and on order editing (it works, but could be smoother)
- Accounting in Xero for cost of goods sold and inventory by geography (when you hold stock across multiple legal entities) requires a bit of excel work each month, when it really should be an easy pull from the system
Overall, BrightPearl has been a massive improvement to our operations, enabling us to significantly scale up our daily fulfilment targets while eliminating the millions of spreadsheets previously used to track all types of operational idiosyncrasies.

This app worked as it should from the moment we had installed it. Settings are easy and mapping data, too. When I compare it to our difficulties we ha with ERP systems and online shops, this was a nice surprise. Since using the app, we never had problems with stock not syncing or orders not updating correctly. BTW, the app also works well in connection with ShopifyPOS. There could be some more flexibility with mapping product data, prices, and support for other POS solutions. But I hope this is something that will be implemented in the future.

Been using Brightpearl for a few years now, love the speed at which customer support helps.
We finally have a process for everything inventory-related in our business from purchasing, through to pick/pack/dispatch/invoice and everything in between. Thank you, Jamie and the Team!

A must have for Shopify Stores who also use BrightPearl. Orders automatically flow seamlessly into BrightPearl when placed on Shopify (including POS & Draft orders). Once an order is dispatched or part dispatched in BrightPearl, this also syncs back to Shopify to send customer notifications, meaning order processing can be managed outside of Shopify without duplicating work. Stock levels also sync almost instantly from BrightPearl, across all our inventory locations to Shopify, helping keeping stock figures correct and avoiding overselling. We also have pricing sync on an overnight schedule, which is a useful backup to keep pricing correct - although it is worth noting as this does not include Compare At pricing or Cost prices, there is still an element of manual work to keep pricing correct across both systems. It also requires an additional price field to be maintained in BrightPearl due to VAT handling across both systems. The app is simple to use and the team at BrightPearl were also very helpful with getting everything set up and running.

As our company grew we needed a better system for inventory management and sales orders processing across multiple channels. Brightpearl was the perfect solution for us. Now we're able to easily track everything live in our warehouse and efficiently handle orders, POs, and returns all through one system. Without Brightpearl our company wouldn't have been able to expand to multiple warehouses across different states.

Additionally, the Brightpearl implementation team was extremely helpful in getting us up and running with lots of training and fine tuning of the data to fit our needs.

I'd definitely recommend Brightpearl to any company looking to expand and have a higher level of organization for their team.

We began our Brightpearl journey just 5 months ago and after an intense 2 months prep, went live 3 months ago. The team we worked with to get us ready for golive (led by Bianca), was a dream team! We couldn't imagine doing a project of this scale without the BP expertise and experience. Bianca gave that extra mile and took the time to really understand our business and the best way to implement BP to ensure we got the most out of it.
Since going live, our team have taken all aspects of BP on board and our operations, customer service and warehouse are all seeing benefits beyond what we had hoped for in ease of use, order turn around, time saving, customer experience and accuracy.
Our next phase is Demand Planner and the extended Warehouse Management System which we are all looking forward to introducing into our warehouse environment!

The link between the Brightpearl and our Shopify site is robust, reliable and easy to instal and use. No hesitation in recommending.

We have been using BrightPearl for three years now. The integration with Shopify has proven seamless and we have never had to contact their support about any issues. The BP sales order and product management life cycle has been a real bonus to our company.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with BrightPearl . Their advertising and product descriptions grossly undersell the complexity of making their product work. What was supposed to be a simple and straightforward process turned into an absolute nightmare. Sean (US REP) promised one thing when really you have to use two different systems.

First off, their marketing made it seem like using their product would be a breeze. However, once I received it and tried to set it up, I realized that it required a degree in rocket science just to get it functioning properly. The instructions provided were vague at best, and they want you to use and update two different systems.

Not only did we waste money on a product that doesn't live up to its promises, but I also wasted countless hours trying to figure it out. The frustration and stress caused by dealing with Brightpearl have left me feeling completely dissatisfied and ripped off.

Save yourself the headache and avoid this company at all costs. They clearly prioritize sales over customer satisfaction and have no qualms about deceiving consumers with false advertising. Trust me, you're better off spending your money elsewhere. All the 5 stars reviews are from the UK or Europe not the United States STAY AWAY!

An integral part of getting started with our product is participating in our Professional Services (PS) team's implementation process and the recorded trainings that are saved through the process. These resources paired with support from our Customer Service team and our robust knowledge base are designed to help customers be successful with our system. After reviewing internal communications between your team and our PS team, it was discovered that your team did not complete the implementation process due to downsizing staff size. This is unfortunate, because a terminated implementation means you did not get all our teams training and support.
